Accounting Manager
Non-profit affordable housing provider seeks an energetic and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the CFO and will be a major contributor to the organization. This challenging roles duty includes, but is not limited to:
Duties:
• A/P & A/R supervision • Assist with the development of budgets and forecasts • Reconciliation and analysis of multiple bank accounts. • Oversee internal controls and accounting policies. • Month-end closings • Assemble construction draw packages • G/L • Financial reporting
Requirements: • 5+ year’s property management / construction accounting experience (ICAM/AccPac) • Experience with government funding/grant management
• Knowledge of Tax Credit (LIHTC) and (NMTC) deals a plus. • Advanced proficiency in Excel. • Working knowledge of GAAP and general ledgers. • Excellent attention to details and accuracy. • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a non-profit environment
• Able to interact diplomatically with all levels of the organization, community and
outside vendors.
