collaborative efforts

The Enterprise Community Partners, Inc.   is playing an instrumental role in the growth and renewal of Jubilee Housing, continuing the longstanding partnership enjoyed by each mission. Enterprise is providing assistance in the following ways:

ü      Technical Assistance as Jubilee Housing develops a new business model and increases the capacity of its Property Management Division.

ü      Numerous staff development efforts.

ü      Resident Services and community building activities, including the safety coalition.

ü      Predevelopment financing through Enterprise Housing Financial Services

ü      Syndication of tax credits through Enterprise Social Investment Corporation

The Management Assistance Program of the Eugene and Agnes Meyer Foundation has invested in Jubilee Housing’s new business model, contributing specifically to a new financial management system. The Meyer Foundation also:

ü  Funded a Capital Needs Assessment to help prepare Jubilee Housing for comprehensive renovations

ü  Helped Jubilee conduct a capital campaign feasibility study that has paved the way for the Campaign for the New Jubilee.

A generous  grant from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, one of the nation’s largest private foundations, took the Campaign for the New Jubilee to the finish line, completing our goal of raising $2.5 million in support of low-income housing.

The Community Development Support Collaborative began supporting Jubilee Housing specifically to help prepare for renovations and long term preservation of this housing resource. Operating support has enabled Jubilee Housing to provide comprehensive temporary relocation services for the resident community. CDSC has also:

ü      Funded the development of this web site.

ü      Supported staff development for the Property Management Division.

Sandra Renner and the Alford Group have helped guide Jubilee Housing’s preparations for the New Jubilee through important Campaign and Strategic planning activities.
