Overview
Jubilee Youth Services provides Out of School Time programming for K-6th grade students, challenging them to achieve their academic potential while engaging in, and learning, prosocial behavior.
All programs come at no cost to parents, and give students the opportunity to engage in a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) curriculum while also engaging in community service learning projects over the summer.
Need
Out of School Time (OST) programs are crucial to low-income youth and their families, improving academic performance but also providing significant benefits for prosocial behavior, safe afterschool environments, and supplemental experiences that enhance and compliment classroom learning with engaging activities.
Additionally, for many working parents, it’s hard to overstate the importance of a safe and healthy environment that provides nourishing meals and guidance as students complete their homework.
While it’s easy to focus on the academics of our programming, it’s important to recognize that quality OST programs enable parents and guardians to work full-time while trusting that their students are keeping up with their school work, enabling time at home to be focused on quality time as a family.
Program
Jubilee Youth Services provides both afterschool and summer camp programs to aid students in thriving academically, growing in prosocial behavior, and becoming leaders in their community.
Our services are divided into two sections: Early Start for students grades K-3rd, and Activity Zone for students grades 4th-6th. We provide numerous academic, physical and social services to our students and their families, all within a safe environment where they can thrive.
